Old-school-geek.
I've spent the last week or two playing through "Phantasy Star IV" at work. I've played the game so many different times and own three copies of it for different systems, but this was the first time I'd gotten around to finishing it. That aside, I have to say that I'm sad that the awesome that was the Phantasy Star series faded to what it is now days. I'm perfectly fine with the action-ish format, but now I can see what there is to miss with the loss of the continuous plot. There's something very awesome about a series of RPGs with big giant plots that all weave together into an ever bigger giant plot. Very very awesome.
The naming conventions suck... and I wish I knew what most of the spells did, but I can accept that.
Hmmm... little else to mention, really.
